This training was very valuable as it directly translated to practice. The information provided was clear, understandable, and could be translated to practice immediately in all areas of practice. I appreciated how easy it was to navigate through the course. I especially appreciated the use of clear examples and case scenarios provided in various settings. When trying to decide which topics I wanted more information regarding, I felt this course had many of those topics within it (setting specific information, gaining facility buy-in, creating programs in a facility, etc.). This course was extremely beneficial as it clearly outlined the process from preparation to practice to creation.

Wow, the self-reflection and live meeting was so helpful. I have spent a lot of time in self-reflection by myself but I think it was much more helpful to have a facilitated discussion with peers who have different perspectives. It was a safe way to engage in this conversation and I feel motivated to have continuing discussions with colleagues, friends, and my spouse. I think it is very valuable to hear ways that others perceive and enjoy sex and intimacy.

The training was well organized, accessible and well worth the money! I already have some training in sexual health, but this course has complemented and enhanced much of what I learned in school. It has positively shaped my understanding of sexuality, and the OT perspective that Kathryn offers is an invaluable resource for OT's across specialties.

The case studies and examples of goals/interventions were very valuable information!

This course helped validate what I already knew. It was reassuring to know that what I've done so far with my clients has been pretty on-point. But it also gave me more talking points and ideas about how to smoothly broach the topic of sexuality and intimacy to open the door for more discussion. I don't have a big frame of reference to use on this topic because, as you've mentioned, sexuality and intimacy is not addressed as broadly as it should be in OT.

I enjoyed being able to start and stop at my pace. The quizzes in between lessons is a good way to break it up and check in. I like that they are all in separate segments. Makes it seem less daunting. I really enjoyed looking at the 3 types of intervention delivery. I really liked the case studies and would love to go more in-depth with them. They are so helpful!

The mock interviews, documentation and billing guidance, and treatment approaches totally demystify this area of OT.
